So I've been promising Dan I'd make him a website to enable him to show off his music

He's a Dubstep Producer and has had some success getting his music played around Brighton and at Fabric in London.

Seeing as he's always had an interest in music for soundtracks, he's pitched himself to an independant filmaker and is currently working on his first Musical Score for an independant horror / sci fi flick called The Field

We both figured that whilst he's producing this, he should have a website and blog to document it. The film is also a great opportunity to expand on his portfolio, which the site will eventually do nicely for showcasing.

Watch this space

Over the weekend I've been knocking up this little slice. The concept is to create a database for student industry placements to be piloted at Canterbury University.

First Canterbury, then the world!

I'm helping out on the front-end of this project so I'm really keen to get the site looking as plush as possible and to fool around with some impressive jquery and ajax to make the thing as usable as possible

Not much to this post, except that I've been looking for ways to beef up a branding folio and friend of mine Colin Buckingham has asked me for some advice regarding a market research pitch/interview he has coming up

He's essentially been asked to find out what room there is for branded hummous on supermarket shelves as part of his interview. I offered to help him with a brand idea and I did.

Medina as a name sums up the North African roots of Hummous which is why I stuck with it through various iterations of the design.

His interview is today 01 / 09 / 2009 so best of luck Colin
