I was drafted in by Mr David Holloway of The Ideas Foundation in order to teach act as a consult to a group of enthusiastic A-level students from the Hackney area.

The purpose of this workshop was to fulfill a creative brief set by an actual industry client.

The brief was to create an animated digital postcard advertising an arts exhibition, showcasing young talent from each borough of london. The client was Summer Uni London and to add further incentive, the strongest piece of work would be optioned to officially publicise this exhibition through an online viral campaign.

What was great about this workshop was the fact that Ryan, Michael and Matt, three veterans from the the last workshop I took part in from Kidbrooke stopped by out of curiousity and ended up sticking around to produce another great piece of work. With myself, those guys and Kieran and Christie we had a nice little reunion.

The end result, after 4 days of work, was three great, unique and engaging animations from the two groups, which I will upload as soon as i compress them. You can view one HERE for now, courtesy of Kieran's Vimeo profile.
